Taipei, Taiwan – November 20th, 2020 – Silicon Power (SP) has won the Taiwan Excellence Award for two of its storage solutions, the PC60 Portable SSD and the Stream S07 External HD. This marks the company’s 13th consecutive year win for this award.

About the Taiwan Excellence Award

Established in 1993, the Taiwan Excellence Award encourages competition amongst Taiwanese companies by producing innovative products with superior quality that will, in turn, boost their competitiveness in the international market as well. Eligible applicants are subjected to a rigorous selection system that includes a review of R&D, design, quality, and marketing. Selected products are promoted by the government to serve as examples of Taiwan’s prowess globally.

The PC60: Your Data, Squared Away

At just 80mm square, the PC60 is one of our most portable-friendly portable SSDs. Its slim and lightweight 11mm profile, shock-resistant structure, and convenient keyhole design all complement its intent to be an on-the-go back-up storage solution. Its Type-C port, USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, and large 1.92TB capacity make it extremely functional as well.

The Stream S07: A Cornerstone for Storage

Inspired by a Zen garden, the Stream S07 is an elegant external HD. The ‘crack’ in its ‘aged stone’ design serves as a ventilation source as well as a transfer status indicator that shines blue. The clever design of this storage solution, which can be placed horizontally or vertically, is matched by functionality with a whopping 8TB capacity and USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface.
