The fastest-ever 45X CF card is now available at Silicon Power

2003-09-09

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (September 9, 2003) ---Silicon Power, the world's leading manufacturer of Flash Data Storage products, again leads the flash card industry in releasing the fastest-ever Compact Flash Card with a 45X data transfer rate. The new 45X Compact Flash Cards are in immediate availability in the capacities of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB. Silicon Power’s new 45X Compact Flash Cards can access data with a sustained write speed up to 6.8MB per second (X equals 150kb per second). The 45X speed can dramatically decrease image file access time, especially when processing high-resolution pictures. “The 45X cards are available with newly-developed firmware and a controller; also using the fastest available flash memory chips” said Johnson Tsai, R&D division Manager, Silicon Power. Other than fast speed, reliability is also a critical factor to Silicon Power’s success. All Silicon Power’s flash memory cards are verified with all popular models of professional digital cameras. To secure the quality, no downgrade flash chips or components will be utilized in any of Silicon Power’s product. Further, all Silicon Power’s products are 100% tested for both functionality and compatibility before shipping out to customers.
