SP Takes Home The Red Dot Award For 2 Products In 2021
SP Takes Home The Red Dot Award For 2 Products In 2021

2021-04-15

Taipei, Taiwan – April 15th, 2021 – Silicon Power (SP) is honored to be named a recipient of the prestigious Red Dot Award for 2 products in 2021, the XPOWER Zenith RGB DDR4 memory module and the PC60 Type-C Portable SSD. The win is a testament to SP’s longstanding commitment to create innovative products that are competitive on a global scale.

About the Red Dot Award

Originating from Germany, the Red Dot Award has become one of the four major international design prizes in the world. It was founded in 1955 by the famous German design association, Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. It attracts applicants from more than 60 countries every year through competitions on product design, communication design, and design concepts. Tens of thousands of works were submitted for a chance to win this prestigious award this year.

Level Up Performance with the XPOWER Zenith

Ranging from blazing speeds of 3200MHz to 4133MHz with low 1.35V – 1.4V power consumption, the XPOWER Zenith RGB DDR4 memory module allows for gameplay at the highest settings with automatic overclocking. The eye-catching design includes a textured hairline finish on its iron grey colored heat spreader, while the varied height difference formed by wave crests and troughs creates more heat dissipation space. Combined with the durable aluminum material, this design promotes maximum heat dissipation and thermal management, which prevents overheating and results in longer playtime.

The arc-shaped light bar design on the top makes the colorful RGB lighting effect resemble water waves; it also synchronizes with the RGB lighting control software of major motherboard manufacturers, allowing for personalized RGB lighting effects. It’s the perfect addition to a gamer’s rig to not only level up performance but also add a unique touch.

The PC60: Your Data, Squared Away

At just 80mm square, the PC60 is one of our most portable-friendly portable SSDs. It fits snugly in the palm of a hand and comfortably slides into a pocket, unnoticed, thanks to its slim 11mm profile. The polished frame accentuates its square shape, while the unique ripple design symbolically conveys memories like ripples, momentary fluctuations in life that are recorded on to this device.

The shock-resistant structure and convenient keyhole design all complement its intent to be an on-the-go back-up storage solution, while its Type-C port, USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, and large 1.92TB capacity make it extremely functional as well. And, despite its ultra compact size, blazing read and write speeds up to 540MB/s and 500MB/s, respectively, get the job done faster.
