2006-12-20

Silicon Power Computer & Communications Inc, a flash memory expert from Taiwan, today releases its DDR2 1066-MHz (PC2-8600) memory module to complete Silicon Powers DDR2 family that includes DDR2 400, 533, 667 and 800 MHz modules. Silicon Power has broken into the global DRAM market since Feb, 2006, soon achieved an extra outstanding sales performance, today the DRAM sales figures accounts for over 20% of the whole Silicon Power's memory products. Given that a Vista upgrade trend is expected in 2007/8, Silicon Power has a very optimistic forecast to double or triple their global DRAM sales in 2007.

"Silicon Power DDR2 memory products have key features of high speed, superior heat spread ability and low power consumption. The needs of super high speed memory products over 800 MHz on the market is growing rapidly working with the latest generation of DDR2-based motherboards (Asus P5B Deluxe or M2N32-SLI Deluxe) and CPU (Pentium 4 - FSB800/1066) and the growing players' usages of games and graphics. With Silicon Power's DDR2 800/1066 MHz memory products, users' devices can be synchronized with motherboards and then deliver maximum memory and system performance efficiently. Now players require no more special adjustments for their memory setting on their computers. DDR2 1066 MHz, performing at high speed and low latencies of 5-5-5, guarantees the best quality of the industrial standard." said Yumi Kang, Product Manager of Silicon Power.

All Silicon Power's memory modules are built to the highest specifications with the best chips and materials and undergo rigorous laboratory tests to ensure the highest performance and reliability.
