Last December Silicon Power (SP) joined efforts with a group of Twitch streamers, gaming enthusiasts and Instagram personalities. SP provided the group of influencers a total of 6 of our best external hard drives, 2 units of Armor A30, 2 of our Armor A60, and 2 of our Armor A62 Game Drive.

The streamers held a nonstop 12 hours stream session in which the drives were offered as prizes to the participants of the stream. The objective of the stream was to collect funds for Child’s Play Charity. Child’s Play Charity is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in a network of over 185 hospitals worldwide. Child’s Play Charity partner hospitals receive an annual gift designated to support their Child Life department through games and technology.

The stream was a success, garnering over 250 unique viewers and more than 20,000 minutes watched, the fundraising target was not only reached, but surpassed.

Silicon Power is proud to have contributed a grain of salt to this noble cause and is always open to partake in initiatives that contribute to the betterment of the world.
