What is XMP?
XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) is an Intel technology that allows automatic overclocking of RAM modules beyond standard speeds, enhancing system performance without manual tweaking.
Simply Put:
Think of your RAM like a race car. Normally, it drives at regular speed. Turning on XMP, or eXtreme Memory Profile, is like pressing a turbo button. The car, or RAM, now goes faster without you needing to tune the engine yourself.
