What is NAND Flash?
NAND Flash is a non-volatile storage technology that retains data without power, using floating-gate transistors to store information in an array of memory cells.
Simply Put:
Think of NAND Flash as a massive library with countless tiny rooms. Each room represents a memory cell, and the books inside are the data. Librarians (controllers) efficiently manage these rooms, adding or removing books as needed. The library stays intact even when closed (powered off), preserving all the books. However, like real books, these data "books" can wear out over time with frequent use, requiring careful management to ensure the library's longevity.
