- # SSDs
What is DRAMless?
DRAMless refers to Solid State Drives (SSDs) that operate without Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) cache, relying solely on NAND flash memory and the controller for data management.
Simply Put:
A DRAMless SSD is like a student without a notebook. Every time they need information, they have to look it up instead of checking quick notes. It still works, just not as fast.
