What is Bandwidth?
The maximum rate at which data can be transmitted over a network or communication channel, typically measured in bits per second.
Simply Put:
Imagine bandwidth as a highway. The wider the road, the more cars (data) can travel at once. High bandwidth is like a multi-lane freeway for fast data flow, while low bandwidth is a single-lane road that causes traffic jams (slow transfer). Expanding bandwidth improves speed and efficiency, just like expanding a highway reduces traffic.
