Silicon Power wins international
awards and hits the sales record
Dedicated to product development, focusing on environment friendly and innovative concept designs, international awards put the stamp on Silicon Power’s R&D and product ID design capability. Silicon Power continuously shows its outstanding achievement in product design. Having won the Taiwan Excellence Award with Touch 810, Silicon Power launched Touch 820 Swivel-Guard USB Drive conceptualized as a way of life, less is more, and won the Computex Taipei Design and Innovation Award.
Touch 810 breaks a new sales record
Silicon Power’s engineers spent over 3 months to develop a slim, unique USB Drive-Touch 810 based on implemented COB technology (Chip-on-Board). Its rhombus facet and crystal reflect the sunlight and on the top of body decorated with Swarovski Crystal revealing a stylish colorful look. Because of the small circuit board, the slim, light covers of pen drive are jointed seamlessly by using ultrasonic plastic welder, which needs the strict quality control to ensure the excellent performance. With the outstanding quality and attractive appearance, Touch 810 has sold over 300,000 pieces around the world.

Touch 820 attracts eyeballs
The winners of the second annual Computex Taipei Design and Innovation Award were announced in June and Silicon Power’s Touch 820 Swivel-Guard USB Drive was praised as “remarkable innovation and creative design”, and was chosen as a winner out of the 147 participants. In the meantime, Touch 820 also won Taiwan Good Design Award. Touch 820 adopts “less is more” design concept, using 360 degree rotation to reveal its material, color, sense of touch. Silicon Power’s R&D team was able to breakthrough that limitation and go further beyond with COB stacking technology to offer users 32GB of storage capacity.
