Japan CAPA magazine:
exclusive interview with Silicon Power
I put one Silicon Power memory card in the washing machine and found it still worked,” Mr. Moriwaki said at a meeting with Silicon Power managers. Mr. Moriwaki is the CAPA’s professional photographer and highly interested in Silicon Power’s products.
GAKKEN CAPA, one of the popular digital camera magazines in Japan, sent the journalist and senior photographer to visit Silicon Power. Mr. Moriwaki and Mr. Koshi are the flash cards professionals and have a great reputation in the field of photography. It was the first time they flew far away to see a Taiwan flash manufacturing factory in order to find out a secret of quality.
Come up with this idea: wash the card
Mr.Moriwaki came up with this idea to test various brand name flash cards: could a flash card be washed many times in the washing machine and still worked functionally? He found one: Silicon Power. Mr. Moriwaki and Mr. Koshi used Silicon Power flash cards 2 years ago and suggested lots of valuable solutions for the products in their coverage. During the meeting with Silicon Power General Manager, Michael Chen, at headquarters’ office, they mentioned the high-speed continuous shooting function would be the main feature of the digital camera products in Japan. Year 2009 March Silicon Power announced SDHC 150X Class 6 on the global market that was ideal for those wanting high-speed data transfer rates and high reliability demands. As the world's leading manufacturer of flash memory cards, USB flash drives and DRAMS, Silicon Power always insists on pursuing “create the most valuable memory” as our commitment and goal.
